As Sims3 started to roll out, EA needed a simple and true-to-brand promo kit for in-game as well as YouTube promotion videos. We started out with and found new ways to animate the Plum-bob then added the other promotion related elements in order to create a fun and uniquely branded promotion kit. It worked very successfully across languages. Re-imagining the Sims logo animation was both an incredibly fun challenge.
We’ve become experts over the years in on-air Japanese shopping channels. QVC hired us to help them to make a major change in the overall look and feel of the channel on-air and online. We re-worked every aspect of the on-air experience including development of: a Network logo, show logos, show open animations On Screen Display graphics. The overall new branded look gave a fresh, vibrant and colorful look to on-air shopping in Japan. Many of the sets and environments for the shows were updated at the same time. The vibrancy of the design helped to attract new shoppers to the channel.
